Jim and Jeff - thanks for sharing your memories of our dear friend Bob Frey. Like you, he also had a deep impression on me in a brief period of time that I was fortunate to know him. As for Bob’s “happy place,” I would suggest that was always when he could be close to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, whether attending Mass or in the Adoration Chapel. He drew strength from those encounters. Like you, coffee was always a part of our get togethers. I’m a better man for the gift of his friendship and example. Eternal Rest grant onto him, Oh Lord!
